So yes. That was me in the locker room bathroom shooting portraits of the New York Yankees players with my iPhone. This was not my choice, I wasn’t given the option of studio or bathroom stall and decided on the latter. I joined the chain of photographers at 6am in the confines of the New York Yankees Spring Training facility in Tampa, and took what space I could get and worked with it. Below is a set of images shot with my iPhone and processed through Instagram (I shot others with an ”actual” camera, but these are my selects from my iPhone set). Below are; Rodriguez, Ibanez, Teixiera, Jeter, Rivera, Chamberlain, Sabathia, Granderson and Gardner.

The Yankees, Instagram and the locker room facilities.

Great photos! I already read the word ‘shocking’ on the internet, as if the brand/price of the camera&lenses will qualify the photographer..
Maybe it’s a stupid question but I don’t know anything about ‘cameraphones’, which IPhone do you use? I am thinking of buying a cameraphone but wonder which one is the best right now.
Came here via Borrow Lenses…I’m an Instagram FREAK – I think these are so cool! Nice!
Hey! I like your work. Is the resolution high enough when you shoot with an iPhone, if a stock agency is to license it?
Being myself a die-hard Yankees fan, and a die-hard instagram fan, I can only say I’m amazed at your Yankees roster portrait photos. Truth be told, I’m looking forward to have some pic of myself in the same fashion inspired by yourself, but with a shirt and tie for my professional profile at LinkedIn.
With Regards
